Chatham Transit Resumes Service to UNC

Do you live in Chatham County? On Jan. 25, Chatham Transit Express resumed service with a larger bus to accommodate UNC commuters. Park for free at Lowe's Home Improvement (Hwy 64 & 15-501) and ride free with a CAP bus pass.

Solar-powered Real-time Info Signs

Thanks to a state grant, Chapel Hill Transit added 25 small solar-powered real-time information signs to bus stops in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. With the push of a button, you can see the next arrival times for the routes serving the stops!

Ride GoTriangle Fare-Free to Carrboro

Chapel Hill Transit has partnered with GoTriangle to provide fare-free service to Carrboro on GoTriangle Route 405. Although GoTriangle is currently fare-free for all routes, this pilot program shows commitment to expanding local transit options.

The ReCYCLEry:  A Safe Space with a New Look

The ReCYCLEry, located in Carrboro, is an inclusive space that helps all people find a passion for biking. Read this DTH article to learn how WTF wrench nights provide a safe space for women, trans, and femme cyclists to learn basic bike mechanics.
